The concert series "Komponistinnen im Blick" (Female Composers in View) exclusively features performances of works by contemporary female composers. About half the works will be especially commissioned for this. To open the series (and to mark the 25th anniversary of musica femina münchen) the first concert will only feature commissioned works and thus debut performances. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation is supporting the five composition commissions issued by musica femina münchen to female composers living in Munich which will be premiered on March 3 at the Blackbox at Munich’s Gasteig venue.
