Muzsika is an Hungarian monthly magazine on classical music, now in its 56th year. The magazine covers all major Hungarian musical events, concerts, opera performances, contests and festivals; it publishes reviews of books, sheet music and recordings, and conducts interviews with accomplished as well as young musicians.
Muzsika closely follows the contemporary music scene: it attempts to show a panoramic view of Hungarian contemporary music and some sampling of foreign novelties. The monthly aims to reach new audiences as. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation supports Muzsika’s efforts to further establish contemporary music in the magazine in 2013.
