Composition Commission issued to Vito Zuraj

Slovene Philharmonic String Chamber Orchestra Association, Ljubljana, Slowenien

In 2014 the string chamber orchestra of the Slovene Philharmonic will be celebrating its 20^th anniversary. Regularly commissioning new works has always been one of the declared aims of the orchestra. In the 2014 anniversary year a composition commission funded by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation will be issued to the acclaimed Slovenian composer Vito Zuraj. The work arising from this will be played at every concert of the subsequent concert season.
