music@villaromana Concert Series

Villa Romana, Florence

Primarily noted for its exhibitions the Villa Romana in Florence will in 2010 be organizing a series of six concerts with different focuses with the support of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation. The focal theme for each concert will be a contemporary piece of work to be backed by improvised electronic music. At some of the concerts talks will be held with the composers themselves – for instance with Salvatore Sciarrino and Matthias Pintscher.
