Munich 2010 Whitsuntide Symposium: "Waiting"

The interdisciplinary Pfingstsymposium in Munich is celebrating its 20^th anniversary. Encounters between those active in the music field as well as academics and members of public life are always at the focus of this symposium. With concerts, lectures and discussions this year’s event is devoted to the topic of “Waiting” – a phenomenon that the fast living of our day and age scarcely permits. At the focus of the symposium is a lecture held by Pascal Dusapin along with the performance of his works CANTO and Echo’s bones by the ensemble piano made possible with the support of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
