Sospeso's Razor

Ensemble Sospeso

At the focus of each of the concerts in the Sospeso's Razor series are one to three performers and a rarely played piece from the 20^th century. Each of the six concerts supported by the EvS Music Foundation will be arranged around a particular solo instrument and a relevant work. As an introduction to the individual concerts each piece will be explained – but not merely in the concert halls but by means of online features, podcasts and videos. This form of presentation offers the audience the chance to participate directly allowing each of the performers to immediately answer questions on the pieces and their choice. They will be able to enjoy works by Morton Feldman, Giorgio Netti, György Kurtág, Luigi Nono, Pierre Boulez and Olivier Messiaen at Roulette Brooklyn on a monthly basis over a half year period.
