Composition Commission issued to Jennifer Walshe

Nadar vzw, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium

Nadar combines Alexander Schubert's composition Point Ones, Alexander Khubeev's Ghost of Dystopia and Simon Steen-Andersen's AMID with a new composition by Jennifer Walshe to create the curated program 'Hands on, Hands off'. The composer is a noted master at delving intensely into the depths of a subject, opening up new musical perspectives and employing new media. The commissioned work for ensemble, conductor, live video and electronics toys with the established relationship and hierarchy of conductor and ensemble and is made possible by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
