OUT·SIDE’21: UNA

OUT·SIDE, Barcelona, Spain

OUT-SIDE is a festival of contemporary music that takes place in several Catalan art centers. In 2021, four major projects are on the program: Rundfunk by Enno Poppe and Trilogie für zwei Flügel (Trilogy for Two Pianos) by Brigitta Muntendorf will be presented. Catalan pianist Lluïsa Espigolé, one of the most respected New Music pianists in Spain, will also perform L4D4, a 60-minute composition written in 2020 by Pablo Carrascosa. The final project brings together composer Meriel Price and the FRAMES Percussion Ensemble in Staring at the bin. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation is facilitating the 2021 edition of the festival.
