Vis-A-Vis Project: Contemporary Music

The festival Vis-A-Vis is part of a comprehensive appreciation project entitled Student Crossroads that brings together students from a variety of subject areas in masterclasses, workshops and concerts. Under the guidance of the two Swiss composers Michael Jarrell and Beat Furrer during the ten-day festival composition students have the opportunity to work on their musical works. 16 instrumental students will study the works while receiving support from two experienced and renowned performers. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation is promoting the academy part of the festival. The results will be presented in a large closing concert.
