9th International Competition for Zither Munich

German Zither Music Association, Ludwigshafen, Germany

The International Competition for Zither Munich will be held for the ninth time in 2021/22, made possible by the German Zither Music Association in cooperation with the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, supported by the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art.

Konstantia Gourzi, Bernhard Lang, Arash Safaian and Eva Kuhn will compose new compulsory pieces for the competition, which will be premiered by the musicians. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation is sponsoring the competition in Munich.
