Composition Commission to Filippo Perocco

For this year’s annual festival „L’arsenale_Nuova Musica“, the ensemble commissioned a new piece to Filippo Perocco which is supported by the EvS Musikstiftung. To confirm the continuous research devoted to New Music, the ensemble is committed from the very beginning to perform premieres and on demand works of young composers, promptly adapting its personnel each time. Since 2005, L'arsenale has promoted writing and spreading of new music, enhancing chances and prestige of various young composers and performers. The project consists of a range of different works for solo instruments or duet as well as pieces for the entire instrumentation of the ensemble (soprano, sax, accordion, electric guitar, piano and synthesizer); sometimes additionally for a guest performer.
