Composition Commissions issued to Malika Kishino

Asasello Quartet, Cologne, Germany

The Asasello Quartet is issuing two composition commissions for the rare instrumentation of string quartet and two clarinets. In their commissioned works Malika Kishino and Mike Svoboda will be exploring what lies behind the words, behind the precepts and prohibitions, what remains and what vanishes. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation is facilitating the composition commission issued to Malika Kishino that will be premiered by the Asasello Quartet together with Beate Zelinsky and David Smeyers.
