Four Composition Commissions

The International Presentation of the New Compositions stands for a cooperation between a number of renowned festivals: Imago Sloveniae Internationales Festival (SI), Festival Unerhörte Musik (Berlin, DE), Festival de la guitarra de Sevilla and Noches musicales del Carmen (Sevilla, ES) and Ebneter KulturSommer (Freiburg, DE). The project brings together four extraordinary contemporary composers: Márton Illés (Hungary), Steingrimur Rohloff (Iceland/Germany), Tomaž Bajželj (Slovenia) and Alberto Carretero (Spain) as well as the German-based, internationally acclaimed Slovenian classical guitarist Klara Tomljanovič. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation is facilitating the four composition commissions which will enter into an intercultural dialogue with one other.
