so nah ~ so fern: 8 Composition Commissions

In “so nah ~ so fern” guitar duo santorsa~pereyra specializing in contemporary art music will explore the incredible tonal variety of the e-guitar and its special potential in conjunction with live electronics. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation is facilitating composition commissions to Samir Amarouch, Mark Barden, Annesley Black, Achim Bornhöft, Ann Cleare, Sara Glojnarić, Mauro Hertig and Lisa Streich. Adrian Pereyra and Ruben Mattia Santorsa will join forces with these eight composers to elaborate an interplay of both proximity and distance.
