The commissioned works, workshops and performances of the Ghost Ensemble offer Catherine Lamb, Sky Macklay and Miya Masaoka the unique opportunity to develop innovative new works together over an extended period of time.

Diverse and highly original musical voices unite the deep-rooted creative experiences in contemporary western art music with backgrounds in Indian (Lamb) and Japanese (Masaoka) classical music, improvisation and deep listening (Macklay). The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation is facilitating the Ghost Ensemble’s concept that will be performed at Roulette Intermedium in New York City in 2022.
