Musica 2016: Portrait Alberto Posadas

For over 30 years now the Musica festival has been dedicated to contemporary music. Here it is not just about presenting as many new pieces of work to as wide an audience as possible but also offering musicians and composers scope to develop, explore and facilitate new ideas, to build and maintain networks as well as to make it easier to fund and support creative work. Education is a key component of the festival. As part of the 34th edition of Musica one focal point lies on the works of Spanish composer Alberto Posadas – Portrait Posadas, consisting of four concerts, a tutorial, two masterclasses and a public discussion, is being supported by the EvS Music Foundation.
