The Art of Sonic Devices

The Art of Sonic Devices is a continuation of KONTEJNER’s curatorial work in the field of sound art and experimental music. The festival focuses on sound-emitting objects and on the importance of sound art within global contemporary art practice, since sound objects have now become an indispensable part of contemporary music. Special headphones for the conversion of electromagnetic waves, new custom-made loudspeakers, machines and electroacoustic clothing will be showcased here. The program featuring sound walks, outdoor concerts and spatial sound compositions is made possible by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
