50th Cycle of Organ Concerts at Cologne Cathedral: Composition Commission issued to Robert HP Platz

The Organ Concert series at Cologne Cathedral will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2010. Boasting an audience of nearly 4,000 people per concert it is one of the world’s most renowned events for organ music. The opening concert of the anniversary series culminates with the debut performance of a work by composer Robert HP Platz. This composition commission was made possible with the support of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
