Four Composition Commissions

Ensemble intercontemporain, Paris, France

At the Cité de la musique, the Ensemble intercontemporain is planning a concert evening entitled LE GRAND SOIR featuring a diverse and creative line-up combining solo pieces and works for large ensemble. For this evening, composition commissions will be issued to Mark Andre, Chaya Czernowin, Aureliano Cattaneo and Bernhard Gander, all made possible by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation. The composers, all of different ages and nationalities, will musically explore the myth of Prometheus.
