Composition Commission issued to Frank Denyer

The Octandre Ensemble is commissioning a 15-minute work to British composer Frank Denyer, as the culmination of many years’ close cooperation between the ensemble and the composer. The new work for female voice, pipes, flute, baroque oboe, banjo, two violins, viola, double bass and percussion is made possible by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation and will be premiered as part of the London Contemporary Music Festival.
