Composition Commission issued to Robert HP Platz

Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern, Germany

With the support of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation the German Radio Philharmonic Orchestra Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern will be issuing a composition commission for an oboe concert to Robert HP Platz. The philharmonic wishes to enrich its modern repertoire in this way. Heinz Holliger has offered to play at the premiere scheduled for 2013. Further performances planned include those at the Muziekgebouw Amsterdam and the Cologne Philharmonic Hall.
