Tzlil Meudcan International Festival

Tel Aviv, Israel

Tzlil Meudcan (Hebrew: Updated Tone) is an international festival held in Israel every summer. Founded 13 years ago it will also establish a research forum for contemporary music to accompany the program inviting musicologists from home and abroad.

BEWEGUNG (Movement) is the theme for the 2021 edition attracting the audience to a variety of locations in Tel Aviv and celebrating a kind of return to normality. Content wise the focus will be on music from England and the United States. The research platform led by Dr. Assaf Shellegg and Dr. Christopher Fox will also collaborate with local and international participants. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation is making the festival possible.

Due to the current situation and associated regulations, there may be changes at short notice. For the latest information on the project please therefore check ensemblenikel.com
