Composition Commission issued to Miguel Azguime

Miso Music Portugal promotes Portuguese composers and is particularly committed to the performance of contemporary works. In 2020, the duo together with the Portuguese Music Research & Information Centre are commissioning a work by Miguel Azguime. The Portuguese composer, performer, poet and founder of Miso Music Portugal will be writing this work entitled Language Building for the vocal ensemble Canando in a multilingual way. Using words featuring shared phonemes, the Portuguese, French, English and German languages are artistically combined together. The different sounds of the languages are harmoniously integrated here, calling on all the technical and expressive means of vocal production.
