The akademie kontemporär aims to artistically illuminate the many different aspects of "Farewell" within the framework of a musical-performative project with an interdisciplinary focus. Young composers together with musicians from the fields of new music/multimedia and jazz as well as students from the HfMT's Theatre Academy will be given the opportunity to work with professional tutors from the field of theatre/performance and members of a new music ensemble to develop various scenes over the course of a week. Prof. Gordon Kampe, member of the artistic board of the akademie kontemporär, will support the young composers in their collaboration with the musicians and theatre people. The results of the project will be presented at a final concert, but also as a work in progress during the course of the project week, both in a hybrid format and also made permanently available digitally.
