The irritazione/irradiazione project at the Traiettorie festival gives young Italian composers a boost at times of growing “irritation” on the Italian music scene. This irritation is now to be transformed into international irradiation or “irradiazione”– amongst other things by means of the collaboration with Klangforum Wien and other festivals.

With the support of the EvS Music Foundation Klangforum Wien will debut works by the two Italian composers Hannes Kerschbaumer and Simone Movio as part of irritazione/irradiazione at the famous Teatro Farnese as well as performing Solo pour deux by Gérard Grisey, Wild winged-one by Liza Lim and linea dell’orizzonte by Beat Furrer.
