Composition Commission issued to Harrison Birtwistle

The London Symphony Orchestra is issuing a composition commission to Harrison Birtwistle. The British composer will write a work for large symphony orchestra to be premiered by the LSO and Sir Simon Rattle in June 2022 which is funded by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
