Gruppo Aperto Musica Oggi, Florence, Italy

The Gruppo Aperto Musica Oggi (GAMO) is issuing composition commissions to Gianluca Ulivelli, Jan Kopp und José Luis Torà, three of Helmut Lachenmann’s former students. In collaboration with the ensemble Suono Giallo and the GAMO ensemble, the project will highlight the different aesthetic and tonal language of the three composers. Facilitated by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation the concert program will be rounded off by music care of Mark Andre.
