Contemporary Music Lab

School of Music Studies, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

The Contemporary Music Lab the University of Thessaloniki is organizing a series of concerts featuring works from the 20^th and 21^st centuries. The concerts will not only be held in established concert houses but also at the city’s museums. This means new audiences will be reached through the choice of venue. Members of the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki will be playing under the baton of Vladimiros Symeonidis. In these concerts works by young composition students will also be presented to the public. The work of talented young composers will then be furthered in a subsequent master class to be held in Spring 2011.
