Composition Commissions issued to David Hudry, Benoît Sitzia and Adrien Trybucki

The ECHO project combines six French sonatas for clarinet and piano by Ernest Chausson, Claude Debussy, Camille Saint-Saëns, Darius Milhaud, Arthur Honegger and Francis Poulenc, with six premieres by contemporary French composers.
Clarinetist Jérôme Comte and pianist Denis Pascal perform the works with completely different styles, new ways of playing, electronic arrangements and light performances. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation has made it possible to commission compositions by David Hudry, Benoît Sitzia and Adrien Trybucki, which will premiere in 2020. The project will continue in 2022 with commissioned works by Philippe Manoury, Philippe Hurel and Yann Robin.
