Concert Series Acts 'n Sounds

Ensemble Garage, Cologne, Germany

Founded in 2009 by Brigitta Muntendorf Ensemble Garage seeks to explore the artistic intentions and aesthetic claims of our day and the methods now used to create compositional fields of expression. The ensemble believes including transmedial works and elements of musical theater is particularly important when engaging in our digital culture.

The ensemble will be presenting its own concert series in Cologne entitled Acts ‘n Sounds. In four projects per year the group will hone in on the transdisciplinary and transmedial aspects of highly topical and socially relevant themes. Close cooperation with innovative figures from the music, art, dance and theater world will allow the audience to experience New Music in a variety of concert formats. Expect installative concerts, performance concerts, transmedial projects, interactive concert formats and a range of different contexts.
