Support for Young Composers

The Divertimento Ensemble has dedicated itself to supporting young musicians for many years now. 2022 will see it continue these efforts and expand them with new projects aimed at young composers under the age of 35 whose work has been particularly impacted by the pandemic. The projects aim to support and stimulate young composers' creativity through commissions, performances and practice opportunities. The projects hope to encourage dialogue and creative exchange between composers and soloists across Europe and increase their visibility. Sponsored by the EvS Music Foundation, the program includes an international meeting, an international workshop, new opportunities for creative development as well as the chance to disseminate new compositions by the young talents.
